Sometimes i forget how precious life is.
Today has been a beautiful day so far and the sun is shining. I sadly work tomorrow on a Saturday morning but i plan on taking full advantage of the day. My goal tomorrow is to wake up at 4:30am and go for a run. It may be short, it may be long but it is something.
I will let you know tomorrow if i succeed. Today as usual i am going to my TRX class which has been killing me by the way, i think i need to start eating before classes, maybe a smoothie or protein bar because TRX is so intense for me that after 15 minutes i am in the same lack of energy and sweat as i would of being at the gym for two hours!
After TRX tonight I’m having a healthy dinner over at one of my best friend, Nikki’s house. Winter finals are over and I’m bound to fit in more physical activity and hopefully some hikes! This sunday i am also going to be taught to snowboard for the first time so that should be interesting.
Keep reminding yourself that today is a new day. Today you can be something completely different from yesterday. If you are 5 pounds overweight, if you are 40 pounds overweight, today you have the ability to make small steps in a better direction than yesterday. Even if you can’t see the change right now, you will, and i promise you, you will be happy and grateful for trying. Thats all that matters. Never compare or compete with anyone besides yourself.
