
Morning All! I’m doing my weekly one-day a week ‘lay in bed till 11:30am ritual!’ It feels wonderful. Every day I wake up at 5am and usually only get about 4-5 hours of sleep at night which is highly unhealthy and know I need to work on that but Thursdays are my day to myself! I feel everyone needs some lazy time every once and awhile and this morning is that morning. At 11:30 I am getting up to go do an hour of Zumba with my favorite instructor then its arms day for lifting!

I’m excited to say that I joined Team Knockout, which is a program from my favorite fitness model, Colleen Gallagher that she just started recently when she launched her own company. So far I’ve had to fill out a survey about where I want to be physically and she wants me to train to start doing fitness competitions. I’ve got a long way to go seeing as I am a cardioholic that steers clear of most weight training, unless it’s simple training like bodyworks classes and yoga…my favorite.
After sending her my front, side, and back views yesterday, I realize I need to get into better shape. I know I will because I’m very determined and competitive so I think this program is really going to help me succeed! So far she has sent me meal plans, grocery lists, inspiring Instagram, twitter and Facebook comments, and texts as well as my daily weight-training routines and specific help-area routines for things like my bottom!….that I need to get lifted!
I will make sure to share with you, my progress as things move along but I am so excited to start something that is different than my daily routines!

There’s something that tells me that you are pretty fit to begin with (your before picture looks like many people’s after pictures). However it’s very admirable that you’re not complacent and that you still seek to challenge yourself! Best of luck with this challenge Tiare!!

thank you christian! yes i am in pretty good shape right now but thats the thing, i am always seeking a challenge especially when it comes to fitness in general. So I’m really excited since I’ve never really trained for anything before. I just enjoy working out but never really have goals attached to more than that! but thank you!

I like those one day a week lie ins too! Sunday is usually my day. Like you Im up early every other day ie 5am. Good luck with the figure comps!

You look great already, but I understand your goal is figure competition… so OK I get your goal
I’d love to train competitively and maybe I’ll do so in the future, it’s not really big here in Holland… I have a long way to go to shape up anyways, so I have some time to think about this
