Morning All! I’m doing my weekly one-day a week ‘lay in bed till 11:30am ritual!’ It feels wonderful. Every day I wake up at 5am and usually only get about 4-5 hours of sleep at night which is highly unhealthy and know I need to work on that but Thursdays are my day to myself! I feel everyone needs some lazy time every once and awhile and this morning is that morning. At 11:30 I am getting up to go do an hour of Zumba with my favorite instructor then its arms day for lifting!
I’m excited to say that I joined Team Knockout, which is a program from my favorite fitness model, Colleen Gallagher that she just started recently when she launched her own company. So far I’ve had to fill out a survey about where I want to be physically and she wants me to train to start doing fitness competitions. I’ve got a long way to go seeing as I am a cardioholic that steers clear of most weight training, unless it’s simple training like bodyworks classes and yoga…my favorite.
After sending her my front, side, and back views yesterday, I realize I need to get into better shape. I know I will because I’m very determined and competitive so I think this program is really going to help me succeed! So far she has sent me meal plans, grocery lists, inspiring Instagram, twitter and Facebook comments, and texts as well as my daily weight-training routines and specific help-area routines for things like my bottom!….that I need to get lifted!
I will make sure to share with you, my progress as things move along but I am so excited to start something that is different than my daily routines!
