Hello everyone!!! I haven’t been updating because I have been busy. This doesn’t mean I’m not working my butt off everyday though:) My days are still filled with a plethora of different cardio and strengthening classes. I also have been doing barre a lot this week since my knee has gotten better. Today I am doing Zumba, Bodyworks and then Yoga. So I will definitely be sore tomorrow. I hope all of you had a safe Halloween weekend! I finally got into my Halloween Costume and I’m going to be a cowgirl. I need to buy a hat, but more importantly, I feel amazing. Remember how much i was complaining about letting go and using muscle? Well thanks to Paleo awareness and barre classes and added motivation, I feel a lot better. I still have not really lost weight but boy oh boy I am happy with the muscle. If you want something bad enough, you certainly can attain it. You can get that toned body, you can be the person you want to become…all you have to do is TRY. Try to change and make small decisions to be better and attain your goals.

So how to you tone up for things like Halloween, Weddings and Big Events? Simple. CHANGE YOUR DIET. Up your workouts.
Try to make some of these changes this week:
+no dairy
+no processed food
+even though it may be hard, NO alcohol.
+eat only CLEAN, whole healthy food.
+4-6 small meals a day
+if you’re starving, reach for veggies or fruit and add some almond butter to it.
+only lean organic meats.
***
+strength train 3-4 times a week
+cardio 6 times a week.
+switch up your workouts to shock the muscles. I do pilates, yoga, zumba, barre, weight-training, and if I could, then I would run…but I cant with my knee problems…always do something that makes you happy and WANT to go to the gym.
+do abs EVERYDAY.
With these little tips, you will be toning up in no time!

It’s also been such stormy weather lately but on Wednesday I went hiking! We did Tiger Mountain in Issaquah and found these camp robber birds to feed once we arrived at the top. I knew nothing about these birds in the way that you can feed them anything from your hand! I was very excited…

So where do we go now? I did the 21-day challenge; I went Paleo, now I find myself giving in to non-Paleo food a lot, which I need to stop. In my last entry I talked about finding what I want to do in life and the importance of staying present and finding goals.
Well here are my goals:
!. Next month I’m getting certified to be an Oula Instructor!!! My friend who is also a Zumba instructor suggested it to me. It’s a lot like Zumba, but more based on top 40’s music. I am really excited to do this with her.
2. I must get ACE certified by March for personal training.
3. When I can re-adjust my schedule, I am going to start training to become a Pilates instructor (one of my longest goals i’ve had). I want to get certified in MAT as well as traditional reformed Pilates.

Love your costume ,so cute!!

That costume is lethal even without the guns and holsters!!!!! You are looking fabulous. I am happy to see that you’re not making this so much about weight loss but about muscle, and looking and feeling good. That’s worth a heck of a lot more than numbers on a scale! You’re getting me motivated for my run tomorrow!!!
