Getting Ready for my AdvoCare 24-Day Challenge

Hello fitsters! Isn’t that an amazing concept that we need to learn to grasp??? We must always keep our head up and moving forward! You think you have more time than you actually do. But the thing is, tomorrow may never happen. Accidents happen all the time and the more you keep thinking you will “start tomorrow”, the more you are putting off your dreams that may never happen. Too many people hold on to people, food, and a life that they are scared to let go of. They don’t know what will happen if they leave that bad habit, that bad job, that way of life. But ask yourself right now if you are happy…

  • Are you living the life you want?
  • Are you healthy, joyous and free?
  • Can you put on a bathing suit right this moment and be happy and confident with the person you are on the outside?
  • Are you confident that the actions you create every single day, make you a good person on the inside?

The time is NOW to be the person you want to become. I was sick the last few days and I have got to admit that I was not eating the best of food, I was laying around feeling sorry for myself and wondering where my life has gone…and not working out which makes me feel worse. This happens to everyone. Our minds are SO powerful and sometimes we just need to look at how we are acting and noticing if we need some change. It’s incredible how much better you feel when you just change your attitude. Today I feel better and don’t have a cold, I just did cardio for an hour and now power yoga.

 

I also decided to make a little challenge for myself. A few friends and I are finally going to take a little dive into an AdvoCare Challenge. The shipment has been sent and I cant waiiiiiiit to get the order in the mail.

I used to HATE the idea of AdvoCare because too many people were all trying to sell it to me. I was skeptical but now that the hype has settled, I’m ready for something new. I am going to try it and take progress pictures and see if it’s all what its cracked up to be. For those of you who read this, you know I love a challenge, and you know I’m always looking for something that works so that I can help others do the same. I tried the whole BeachBody thing and had to back out because I’m not one to workout at home. Beachbody works for many but I need to be around people. I need a full gym of sweaty motivated people to make me feel the energy to keep it goin! Working out at home lasts about 10 minutes, then before I know it the ADD kicks in and I’m making a sandwich or online. I need to remove myself to burn calories. So I will let you know when I start! Today in yoga, my amazing instructor Tiffany talked about how we need to let go of our past. We need to continue coming to yoga to let go. I am doing this from now on. Letting go of my past and the negativity I’ve held on to. I want to move forward. I feel like this challenge will be a good jumping off point in a new direction. I want to fill all my old thoughts with yoga and this challenge, and strengthening my current relationship with my family and my true friends. I am so blessed to have the amazing people I have in my life right now. You all know who you are and thank you for being there through my crazy, painful, and yet wonderful whirlwind of a life so far.

  1. You and I are a lot of like in the respect of not being able to workout without having people around. I get way too distracted myself… Letting go of your past is the most difficult thing to do, but you’re right, moving forward and staying positive is the answer. Good luck on your challenge.

    • thank you!!! yeah i definitely need people around to workout, its such a challenge being alone, especially at home with everything that makes me lazy!!!

      I know i have been kind of sad lately but I’m going to choose to be happy and move on and stop holding on to my pesky little path that has created me to live in emotional fear!

  3. Seriously, I love your energy and your posts. I don’t think they’re repetitive at all!!! I’m also glad I follow you on Facebook. You posted a quote about 2 days ago or so that said: “Don’t think. Just pull on your shoes and go” and i just loved it and think is the wisest quote I’ve read haha. Thanks!!!

    • yes i looooove that quote! the hardest step is the first one out the door! i get a little tooooo comfortable once i get home sometimes! i never want to leave
